After graduating from the Penny Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, I began my career as an art director at several Detroit advertising agencies. I later became a senior art director at Papyrus Corporate, where the experience ultimately inspired me to pursue my own creative path. I left corporate life to focus on licensing my artwork across stationery, giftware, craft, and fabric markets.
My work combines calligraphy with hand-drawn elements in pencil, ink, and watercolor, resulting in a style that is both whimsical and refined.
I am the author and illustrator of three books, Fictionally Fabulous, Ladies Who Drink, and Le Cinéma Français, all published by Running Press. I am currently illustrating Hospitality Over Entertaining, written by Lisa Zook.
I have collaborated with fashion designers and retail brands as a live sketch artist for special events, creating personalized keepsakes for customers.
I’m based in a small town just outside Detroit, Michigan.
